The Council on American Islam Relations believes America’s greatness comes from the endless opportunities for all of her citizens and that this greatness is maintained through active civic participation. We believe that advocacy through the American Muslim experience is advocacy for a better America.
The organization’s main goals, which embody its core values, are the following:
-to expose and educate youth and adults of Arab and non-Arab heritage to the diversity of Arab culture and other cultural traditions
-to support the development of youth leadership by empowering them with a deeper knowledge of their cultural heritage and history, creating opportunities for greater academic achievement and civic engagement.
-to create a welcoming and inclusive space in West Philadelphia that serves as an administrative and programming space for Al-Bustan and engages with community members in Philadelphia and beyond

Women’s Campaign International is a renowned NGO working with individuals and communities throughout the world founded in 1998 by Emmy-winning reporter and U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Margolies.
The SSJ Welcome Center was established to respond to the needs of newcomers in our neighborhood, community and country.
We recognize the many challenges immigrants face as they begin a new life in our country. From learning English, to finding jobs, to communicating with their children’s teachers, to navigating the healthcare system, our students face daily struggles. We aim to educate and provide resources to these friends.
NSC’s Refugee and Community Integration (RCI) department provides a wide-range of services to meet the needs of newly arriving refugees, victims of human trafficking and unaccompanied children. We are the largest and most comprehensive provider of services in the Greater Philadelphia region.
HIAS Pennsylvania provides legal, resettlement, citizenship, and supportive services to immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers from all backgrounds in order to ensure their fair treatment and full integration into American society.
We advance our mission by providing free legal representation on employment-related issues to eligible workers. We also provide community education on legal rights for migrant and immigrant workers throughout the Commonwealth.
