Philly Thrive forged our reputation by organizing and uniting Philadelphians for our Right to Breathe. After four years of campaigning, we won permanent closure of the PES oil refinery and an end to 154 years of pollution. Our current campaigns contests for justice in the historic refinery site redevelopment, and safe affordable housing for all.
Philly Thrive also runs robust community support programs, including a youth summer camp, a gun violence healing circle, a women’s support circle, and a weekly food box delivery.
We run campaigns to change the system that creates so much injustice, and our community support programs help us survive and bring more people into the movement.
